Michael B. Hansen, M.S. Economic, CFP® Founderl & PresidentBefore joining the financial services industry in 2001, Michael spent almost 10 years in London, England working for companies such as Hertz Europe and Johnson & Johnson in their Sales & Marketing Departments taking on roles as Marketing Manager and Global Business Development Manager.

He is originally from Denmark with a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Economics from University of Copenhagen (a.k.a. cand. polit.).

Michael is married to a native Hawaiian, Jennifer and they have one son, Sebastian and a Chocolate Labrador, Kona.

He has a passion for traveling and has been to more than 45 countries so far. Outside of work, Michael enjoy the cultural scene and reading. In the sporting area Michael lives to play squash, badminton, tennis, golf and of course soccer! Michael is fluent in Danish, English, Norwegian and Swedish and has a working knowledge of French and German.

He specializes in international financial planning (often referred to as cross-border financial planning).  International financial planning covers areas such as Financial Position, Protection Planning, Investment Planning, Tax Strategies, Retirement Planning & Estate Strategies.


Pamela A Jacobs, BS, CFP® & PartnerPamela Jacobs has almost two decades experience assisting her clients in defining their investment goals and implementing practical strategies to protect, preserve and ultimately pass their wealth on to the next generation.

Every client is different and so are the tactics Pamela employs to meet their specific goals. Pamela goes to great lengths to learn about you so you can feel confident her strategies are appropriate for your needs. Life is full of changes so it’s important to be agile but also proactive to ensure you are protected against the unexpected. Pamela has a target approach that will help safeguard you and your investments while aligning with your specific investment goals.

Pamela feels it’s vital to understand the full ramifications of your investment strategies and makes a point to work closely with your legal and tax professionals to ensure all are aligned with the recommended strategies.

Pamela received her BS degree from the University of San Francisco in Applied Economics.

Pamela is a former member of Soroptimist International of Sonoma, a group committed to supporting and helping women and girls across the world. Pamela was also one of the founding members of Impact100 Sonoma, a philanthropic group of women committed to fulfilling the needs of their community.

Pamela lives in the East Bay and enjoys spending the weekends with her husband and their energetic young son. She is an avid cyclist and also loves gardening and gathering with friends and family.


Edcelyn Pujol, BS, CFP®

Edcelyn Pujol began her career in financial planning in 2003 when she realized that her passion was to make a positive impact in people’s lives and help them achieve their goals. All the advice and planning that she gives her clients are in their best interest. She creates trust and ensures they’re receiving the best advice possible.

In a former career she was a Project Manager (PMP) and consulted with large and small companies managing software development and implementation.

She is most proud of the being recognized as “100 Most Influential Filipina Women” in 2012 and “Keeper of the Flame” in 2013, from Filipina Women’s Network, a non-profit international advocacy organization for women. She is a past Board member of the Filipina Women’s Network.

Community service is important to her. She had worked with the San Francisco District Attorney’s office on an anti-bullying campaign and volunteered with the San Ramon Education Foundation’s Run for Education fund raiser for five years on their planning committee. Currently, she advocates for the consumer as a member of the Dental Hygiene Committee of California, appointed by Governor Jerry Brown in 2016.

When she is not working or giving back to the community, Edcelyn stays busy with cooking, working out, traveling, hanging out with family and friends, and exploring the wine country.  


Gary L. Watts, MS, CFP®

Gary Watts is passionate about helping people and after retiring as a police lieutenant after 30 years of service, has been in financial services since 2009.  

He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State and his Master’s degree from Long Beach State.  

Gary is also a helicopter pilot, having served in the California Army National Guard. He is involved with the American Red Cross volunteering on their Disaster Action Team. 

He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and is also a serving member of Rotary International. Gary lives in Walnut Creek with his wife and their two teenage sons. He enjoys sailing, camping and golf.



Harold O. Lowe, M.A.Harold Lowe is has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, sales, marketing, and business development in six industries. Harold is a fourth generation Oakland resident, earning a B.A. in African American Studies from UC Berkeley, and an M.A. in Public Administration from California State University Eastbay.

He is currently a Board member of Oakland Lacrosse, Pro Arts Gallery and Oakland Rotary, and has previous served on over 20 boards and commissions.

Harold specializes in working with African American families, small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Harold lives in Oakland with his wife, Andrea (also a lifelong resident) and their three children; Taylor, Harold Lowe IV, and Daniel.

Courtney Montecino, MS, Client AssociateCourtney Montecino is our assistant who has over 20 years of administrative experience. She has provided administrative support in various fields, such as IT, government, real estate, and interior design.

Courtney believes in taking her work personally and treats every transaction as if it were her own.

Courtney received her MS degree from University of Phoenix in Administration of Justice and Security.

Courtney enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two young daughters enjoying the outdoors.
